Clippers filling up new roster
In a season of misadventures, the Los Angeles Clippers are down to signing their players' friends to fill out the roster.
Needing a backup with point guard Shaun Livingston injured, they signed eight-year veteran Alvin Williams to a 10-day contract and after hearing he was in town, staying at guard Cuttino Mobley's home.
The Los Angeles Clippers have already banked their future on Shaun Livingston by bowing out of the Allen Iverson race, refusing to discuss Shaun Livingston in any deals. He's been back in the starting lineup recently and the Los Angeles Clippers could be on the verge of giving him minutes again the rest of the way. It's also possible they could swing a deal to move Sam Cassell, which would put the ball in Shaun Livingston's hands the rest of the way. As has been the case over the last two years, Shaun Livingston could easily burn us again, but at some point, he's going to be handed the reins to the Los Angeles Clippers' franchise.
