Assists
Chris Duhon - PG, CHI: Duhon always has value in assists, steals and threes when he’s getting quality minutes. After seeing just 19.3 minutes per game in the month of January, Duhon is back in the good graces of coach Scott Skiles with 29.4 minutes in five February games. During that span, he’s posted 13.4 points, 4.4 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.6 three-pointers. That’s pretty much his standard line whenever he’s seeing that kind of run. With two games in the short All-Star week, Duhon makes for a terrific plug and play but his long-term value will be hindered by Scott Skiles’ inconsistent rotations.
Shaun Livingston - PG, LAC: Just my luck. As soon as I finally decide to drop Shaun Livingston, he goes off for 13.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.7 steals and 0.5 blocks during his last four games. I guess I deserve it; I held onto him about a month too long anyway. I’ve come to terms with the fact that Shaun Livingston still needs some time before he’s ready to make a big splash in the fantasy world. That said, he can make a moderate splash, especially in assists, steals and even blocks if he continues to see the 33.5 minutes he’s been getting during the last four games.
