Clippers 97 Suns 90
Sam Cassell and Corey Maggette (muh-GET'-ee) combined for 53 points as the Los Angeles Clippers beat Phoenix 97-90 to end a 4-game losing streak.
Cassell scored a game-high 32 points, grabbed six rebounds and had seven assists to help the Clippers knock the Suns into second place in the Pacific Division. Maggette chipped in 21 points and Chris Kaman had 18 rebounds as the Clippers won for only the sixth time in 19 home games.
L.A. shot over 52% from the field, with Cassell hitting 15 of his 21 attempts.
Amare Stoudemire had a team-best 29 points for the Suns, while Steve Nash and Shawn Marion each had double-doubles. Nash finished with 14 points and 13 assists, and Marion added 14 points and 17 rebounds.
