No Date Set for Shaun Livingston's Return
Los Angeles Clippers' guard Shaun Livingston is continuing to rehab his injured knee, but he told HOOPSWORLD on Sunday afternoon that no definitive timetable has been set for his return.
"There's not really anything set in stone," Livingston explained. "I think it's more just planning on when I'm 100%, and just making sure that I get back healthy so I can stay healthy."
Despite not having a date set for his return, his rehabilitation is progressing as expected.
"It's going well," Livingston said. "It's a long process, but it's getting better. I'm regularly making trips to my doctors monthly to get checkups and everything, so I'm still on target."
The goal moving forward is to get Livingston to a point where his ability to make basketball movements isn't restricted in any substantial way. At present, though, Livingston is sill limited in what he can do physically.
"I can't really explode and jump off one leg right now without soreness or pain. I think that's one of the biggest keys, being strong on that leg and making sure it's strong enough to support my explosion. I definitely want to come back without any restrictions and just come back and be able to play."
